Successful completion of a major project via steam boilers automated process control system installation and commissioning

Globaltechexport Ltd. successfully completed a major project via equipment supply, software development, installation, and commissioning of the automated process control system for steam and hot-water boilers of the Boiler Turbine Shop of BKPRU-4.

In the course of the project implementation, Globaltechexport Ltd. successfully performed all its obligations related to the supply of component parts, development of PCS 7 application software, installation and commissioning of the automated process control system for steam and hot-water boilers of the Boiler Turbine Shop of BKPRU-4.

The software and hardware complex of BKPRU-4 boiler units’ automated process control systems for Uralkali PJSC are based on PCS 7 (Process Control System) of Siemens AG (Germany).

The control algorithms developed by Globaltechexport Ltd. enable fully-automated boiler units pre-start procedures (furnace venting, gas path pressure testing, gas path purging), boiler units starting (automatic ignition of all burners), maintenance of preset boiler units modes, boiler shutdown by operator command, operation of tripping and automatic interlocking systems.
