Globaltechexport Ltd. completed the transportation of two asynchronous electric motors (model HMN3 563-28E) made by Hyundai Heavy Industries (South Korea) to Yakutsk GRES-2 ahead of schedule. This equipment will be integrated in the gas booster station based on Atlas Copco centrifugal turbocompressors.
The oversized cargo was carried by the Vostochny Voyager vessel from the port of Pusan (South Korea) to the port of Vladivostok. Special road transport and high-strength synthetic slings were used for the road (including unpaved road) transportation of the cargo from Vladivostok port to Yakutsk.
Specialists of Globaltechexport Ltd. made every effort to ensure complete cargo safety. The cargo was insured with a Class A insurer for the whole transportation route. Slinging arrangements and detailed instructions were developed for handling operations.
Pursuant to the Company's logistic services principle, the Customer received daily cargo location notice reports from the account manager, administering the project throughout all of its stages.
