Globaltechexport Ltd. has performed a complex supply and commissioning of the modular Gas Booster Station for the Kondinskoye field, comprising two compressors with a total capacity of 1,600 kW. Gas Booster Station was designed for the treatment of the associated petroleum gas of the gas-turbine stations providing power to the field operational facilities.
Main parameters of the Gas Booster Station:
- Medium — associated petroleum gas;
- Outlet pressure — 2.0 MPa (g);
- Total flow rate — 8,900 Nm3/h;
- Q-ty of compressors — 2 ea. (1 main + 1 standby);
- Motor capacity — 800 kW.
Kondinskoye field is part of the Erginsky field cluster in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area located in an isolated and remote part of the Area (Yugra, Khanty-Mansiysk and Kondinsky District, Tyumen region, Russia).
A distinctive feature of the project is the need for stable operation of the supplied Gas Booster Stations in a wide capacity range at preset output pressures depending on the number of GTPP gas turbine units put under load.
The implementation process was complicated by issues with accessibility of the equipment installation site by transport: in summer the area is impassable for motor vehicles and in winter it is accessible by a winter road through the field. The only paved road runs at a distance of 92 kilometers from the field. However, despite these difficulties, the construction project was completed within the required period.
To some extent, the Kondinskoye field in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area provides excellent opportunities for Area development. The cluster is mainly equipped with equipment of home manufacture including equipment supplied by Globaltechexport Ltd., which is indicative of a well-developed industrial sector. Now Erginsky cluster, the most promising in Western Siberia, includes five fields: the Erginsky area, Kondinskoye and Chaprovskoye fields, and Zapadno-Erginskoye and Endyrsky fields. Soon, not without our contribution, a similar energy complex will be commissioned in Zapadno-Erginsky area.
