Globaltechexport Ltd. has completed the commissioning of the gas distribution plant and duplex filter units at Yakutsk GRES-2.
The management of the Customer, SEZ Progress Ltd. (Customer — TEK Mosenergo JSC) highly appreciated the compliance with a tight schedule (less than 4 months), supplied equipment quality and professional installation supervision, set-up, and commissioning services provided by Globaltechexport Ltd.
The gas distribution plant (36,000 Nm3/h capacity including gas cleaning, heating, metering, and pressure reduction units) is designed for the supply of natural gas without solids or condensed moisture to three water boilers of Yakutsk GRES-2. The gas distribution plant has a modular (container) type design. The container houses all process equipment, life support facilities, automatic fire fighting, and gas alarm systems. The automatic control system of the gas distribution plant is located in a separate compartment. All process pipelines are designed to provide full redundancy for uninterrupted gas supply in case of emergency.
Four duplex filter units form the final stage of fuel gas cleaning and are installed immediately upstream of General Electric LM6000 PF gas turbines. Each duplex filter unit includes two parallel natural gas cleaning lines based on high-efficiency coalescing filters. They extract resinous substances, dust, metal scale, and other possible liquids from gas supplied to the turbines.
Manufacture and supply of integrated natural gas conditioning and transportation equipment are one of the core activities of Globaltechexport Ltd. engineering company, supplying pre-fabricated container-type modules with high-quality equipment.
Globaltechexport Ltd. has a proven track record of manufacture and supply of gas conditioning units, gas distribution plants, gas cleaning units, gas heating units, technological and commercial gas metering units, and gas purge lines.
