Globaltechexport Ltd. supplied and commissioned a gas pressure reduction unit under the project of construction of Katangli energy facilities (Katangli and Uiglekuty field infrastructure development) at the field of the same name. The modular power facility became one of the largest in the Sakhalin region.
The gas pressure reduction unit is designed for gas cleaning and operating gas pressure regulation and maintenance at a preset level.

This project implemented by Globaltechexport Ltd. for use by RN-Sakhalinmorneftegaz LLC (Rosneft Oil Company PJSC) makes it possible to replace the capacities in place since the 1970s, provide power to Katangli and Uiglekuty fields, and improve APG use efficiency.
The implementation was complicated by issues with the accessibility of the equipment installation site by transport; however, the construction project was implemented within the scheduled time. Katangli and Uiglekuty oil fields are among the oldest producing fields in Russia, which were put into commercial development in 1929.
