Ladygin, Kalmanovich, and Bragin decided on the set of awards among themselves. Yesterday the 1st stage of the Togliatti Synchronous Ice Racing Cup was held at Togliatti KVC Circuit, where twenty-five pilots (both beginners and famous ones) took part. The most titled sportsmen are going to compete in the Race of Champions this weekend, so they did not miss the opportunity to practice on a slippery surface.

The transition from the ideal tracks of the Russian Circuit Racing Series (RCRS) did not come easily for everyone: Igor Samsonov, Maxim Simonov, Andrey Petukhov and Aidar Nuriev found themselves at the bottom of the classification. Oleg Petrikov, Head of SMP RCRS, who last year took part in the stages of the LADA Rally Cup, this time faced Yury Arshansky, his rival in the Monocup, and lost one position to the winner of the rally series, being only the 17th. However, even the current Russian Rally Cup champion Dmitry Voronov was not the best on an exotic track: he closed the top-15 after Vitaly Primak.

The local pilots, of course, had advantages on the KVC synchronous track, although there were some guests who did not give up until the end: Grigory Burlutsky from St. Petersburg remained in the top dozen, and Anvar Tutaev from Kazan was able to beat Vladislav Nezvankin, leaving him on the 10th place. And the bright performance of Dmitry Dudin, an engineer of the Kazan AG Team, was even more surprising. Dmitry "just decided to try his hand", but finished the 7th!

But the first six are recognized leaders in synchronous races. Mikhail Mityaev was the 6th, Egor Sanin was the 5th, and Vladimir Sheshenin was one step away from the podium. Dmitry Bragin became the bronze medalist, Pavel Kalmanovich got the silver medal, and Kirill Ladygin won the gold medal.
